Arvin Cooper Scholarship Renewal

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must maintain a minimum 2.33 cumulative college grade point average.
2. Must be an Arvin Cooper Scholarship recipient as a high school senior and are a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year student, with no lapse in attendance.
3. Must be registered at an accredited college for the 2026-27 academic year.

Deadline to Apply:   June 30, 2026

1. We must receive your uploaded documents by June 30, 2026 to be considered for renewal.
2. If you will not be applying for this scholarship, please send us a courtesy email at jwinter@mvdfs.org

Steps to Apply

1. Log in to your student profile at https://maquoketavalley.dollarsforscholars.org
2. Update your contact information and the college you are attending (if applicable).
3. Upload the following required documents to the documents section of your profile:
   1. Official college transcript, showing your cumulative college grade point average.
   2. Proof of registration for the upcoming school year
   3. Estimated tuition costs

Important Dates

June 30, 2026    Deadline to upload documents for renewal consideration.

July 21, 2026     Application review complete and award notifications emailed to students.

August 1-8, 2026     Checks made payable to your college will be mailed to your home address, provided in your profile.

Amount of Scholarship Award

The funds from the Arvin Cooper Renewable Scholarship are evenly distributed among all eligible candidates. The scholarship amount will be specified in the email notification sent in July.
